Change the language via launcher.

I got an issue.

When I click the Play Icon on the edain launcher the game end up not starting, what I did wrong? I´ve been trying to look around for info on this post but I can´t see any similar problem around.

Go to options in the launcer and try the fix there.

and if that doesn´t work? cause I can´t start edain nor the RoTWK from the launcher... it seems it doesnt read and dont start..

Please write what is happening exactly if you click the play button in the launcher.

I enable the mood (edain) then click play.... I see the mouse cursor timing reading the program I started then nothing happens, just like if I didnt asked to started it... i tried the same with he Rise.... same stuff... doesnt start the game

You dont even get the games splashscreen? Thats weird. Try reinstalling BFME 2, the Addon Rise of the Witchking and the mod.

if I start the regular versions bfme 2 and RoTWK they all work just fine when I click to play, just not with the launcher

Well apparently the Edain is what is blocking all... I did playing bfme and RoTWK today earlier... soon I started edain the game simply dont run, not even the splashscreen...

You can also run the mod through the original RotWK shortcut, if that is still working. Still weird, since the launcher does just start the games exe, same as when you click the desktop shortcut to the game.

I played bfme 2 with all the patches and was ok and havent tried after installing the RoTWK patch 2,0 something... I think that patch bugged my game as I unistalled the Edain and still dont work... so apparently the root of the problem is hopefully the RoTWK

On which patch to you play?
Patch 2.01 is the last official patch - 2.02 is an unofficial patch, so it's also just a mod. Two mods never work together,. So:
Install Rotw
Install Patch 2.01
Install Edain

I did installed patch 2,01 but with ea something on it..... its odd, im installing the RoTWK again and see what happens... test if the game runs and after that the edain

The thing is: You need to have the correct version of the patch! It needs to be the one for the language you have installed. There are also versions for the disk version and the digitally distributed one.
