at the begining i had my doubt, that there will be any new scene with galadriel vs sauron, because some who saw the movie didnt mention it at all, but most of them werent fans of the white council sequence so they mostly didnt even pay attention to the battle of dol'guldur, and some even stated that they have forgotten how it was, but since my respectful friend gandalf the grey confirmed it, then i am so happy to wait for that particular scene :) :)

anyway after what i read in many forums, and what i concluded that this how the dol'guldur sequence goes:
SPOILERS AHEAD !!
before galadriel comes, the orc takes gandalf out of the cage, and notices his ring of fire, he then asks gandalf about the other rings, but gandalf dont answer him, instead he tries to fight back and hits the orc with a chain in his face, wounding him a little bit, but he was already weak, so the orc had the upper hand, later galadriel comes in and she gets those beautiful line, that she said in a fierce and powerful way: i came for mithrandir, and i will leave with him, if you try to stop me, i will destroy you ! then the orcs roars at her, and she simply with a swift wave of energy from nenya she undoes him. later she carries gandalf ( just like in theatrical version ), sauron speaks to her with same dialogue, nazguls appear, elrond and saruman comes to rescue, but this time saruman and elrond will have more actions against the nine, and will do more hits, whilst in the middle of the battle sauron appears and comes for galadriel, he unleashes all his dark magic against her, but she resists him ( probably using her ring of protection, but some say that he uses the power of her ring against her, because he is the lord of the rings ), then sauron gives up and he just diseappears, galadriel then falls to the ground, seeming to be weak ( but i guess it was just a trick of her, so she could deceive sauron and make him appear again so she fight him with her dark form ), and the banishement continues just as in the theatrical version, sadly there is no beorn in dol'guldur, there is more of radagast and gandalf conversation, also i got no clue about what happens to saruman after he says : leave sauron to me.
--- Ende Zitat ---
That sounds awesome, can't wait for the release of the Extended Edition to see it too! :) Also Sauron's additional appearance will explain why Elrond looks at the staircase where Sauron appears when picking Galadriel up 8-|.

i dont get it, there is people that confirmed there was no galadriel vs sauron whilst many others swear they saw it, and the problem is that all these people are trust worthy and aren't known to be liars, i dont really get it ! it couldnt be like there were different material, i mean it would be outraging if something was shown in a cinema and was removed in another ?? i am confused :o :o :o :o
i got some answers: after reading asking many people and re-asking them again to get more details, i found out that the only problem that was is linguitic, i mean some people missinterpret the word "vs", because at the begining they said there is no sauron vs galadriel, but later they say that sauron appeared and he just talked to galadriel, he was tormenting her spiritualy, and he just says to her that the power of rings cant save them, wich drains galadriel's energy and makes her fall, and sauron leaves anyway, this is what i could understand, so the problem was how to define "VS", but anyway i will wait for hd dvd, or some EE scenes to confirm this, but now i am pretty sure there is more galadriel and sauron during the battle, wich explains galadriel falling on the ground later. i hope i was useful, but still i want to wait for hd dvd to remove all doubts :)
Gandalf The Gray:
also there s a lot of new dwarves scenes dain goat riders maaaaaaaaaaan they are awesome the balistas that faked up the elves for good
ThorinsNemesis:
Personally I'd love to see those new scenes of Sauron talking about Galadriel's Ring; but my hope gets lower and lower, cus it seems most other people on the Net say they didn't see that scene? :o
