Illuin, one of the two mighty Lamps, whose holiness was one of the sources by which the ancestral Middle-earth was lit. A perfect world fashioned on symmetry among all natural elements.

Not only are the vast Pastures of Yavanna evergreen, but also golden, for there grows the Wheat of the Gods, which is nourishment for all Valinor.

Finarfin bidding farewell to his beloved family, before his sons and his daughter depart from Aman. The gentle Noldorin princes choose the path of the exile, being resolute to punish Morgoth for his terrible crimes and being intended to rule over the free lands of the mortal Middle-earth. After an initial agreement, Finarfin eventually opts for returning to Kôr/Tirion and becomes the king of all Noldor in Aman. Only during the apocalyptic War of Wrath (more than 500 years later) shall he land on Beleriand to fight within the ranks of the Host of the Valar.

A possible interpretation of how the greatest harbour of Eldamar might look like: Alqualondë.

I wish I had artistic skill beyond simply music and prose. Personally, the artistic depictions of Melkor are too clean. I have no problem with Sauron being the clean-shaven, "fair" one, especially since that was his guise as Annatar during the Second Age, but the Dark Enemy Morgoth shouldn't look like a clone of Annatar

I share your same considerations. After the theft of the Silmarils and the end of the Noon of Valinor, Morgoth is indeed supposed to manifest himself in Arda in his usual terrible appearance, as he had done during the previous wars against the Valar (Years of the Trees) and long before. I would nonetheless say that, at an extent, we can notice some different aspects from Annatar: that is, Morgoth's face already shows the corruption of his essence and the scar inflicted by Thorondor.

There's also another motive that interests me. His expression doesn't express malice nor evil intentions, but rather a sort of subdued feeling (sadness, in a sense, with the broadest connotation): the tragic condition of being evil and not having the possibility to redeem in any way, as if he were a slave of his own character.

Another interesting concept which seems to advocate the interpretation of the Two Trees having a colossal size. The interpretation I cherish the most  ;)

Finwë, mourning the eternal sleep of his beloved Míriel, whose physical body is taken care of by the Maia-maidens of Estë.

The marine Maia of the People of Ulmo, Ossë, teaching the Teleri how to build ships to cross the seas and reunite with the other Eldar in Aman. He is the representation of storms and his violent characterisation is due to his initial attendance of Melkor, at the beginning of things. Friendship that he later forswore.

Another depiction of Ossë, with her wife Uinen, Maia who rules over the calm sea.

Manwë, the king of the Valar and of Arda itself, mourning the ultimate decision of most of the Noldor to depart from Aman, leading to their consequent exile.
