Third High King of the Noldor, deemed the most valiant of all ancient monarchs; one who dared battle the Dark Lord in front of the gates of the Iron Fortress.

Never has the Vala of the Oceans forsaken whom he considered dear and in need of aid. He headed out, once, from the forbidden underwater palaces that are his dwelling. He took the mighty appearance of one of the Powers and gave words of wisdom to the one who was destined to change the course of the tide.

A radiant Angel of light and knowledge,
Woes to thee, thou hast chosen darkness and his deadliest servant in truth thou becamest.

Emperor of the Oceans, of seas known and forbidden, on behalf of the Powers thou hast just spoken, of whom thou art messenger of hope. I shall listen and obey, for thy wisdom is the wisdom of the Archangels, that knoweth all and never is wrong.

Once returned in Middle-earth, that strange alliance was just bound to end: Ungoliant seeks to devour Melkor, as the Dark Vala had refused to give up the Jewels and let her feed on their holy radiance.

The second High King of the Noldor. Master of doom and of doom a notable victim. Keeper of arts and wisdom that are never to be surpassed.

The Lady's wise brother. Hero of gentle nobility, master of songs and eternal friend of the loyal Edain of the First Age. None was to surpass him in kindness and purity of heart. Quality of rare sort and worthy of heartfelt praise in the legends of the world.

Once they had gone back to Middle-earth, Morgoth undid his false allegiance with Ungoliant and denied her the possession of the stolen Silmarils, in spite of what he had initially vowed to convince her to partake in the assault on the Blessed Realm. The gruesome Maia went then berserk and, in extreme wrath and unceasing hunger, trapped the Dark Lord into her black webs and was about to devour him completely, if not for the intervention of the Balrogs, headed out of the Iron Fortress for the rescuing of their evil master.
