For Angmar, maybe there is a quote from the ROTWK campaign that could be used? I don't remember many of them, just a thought.

Btw.I just find out that BFME 1 have plenty of unused quotes EA added them correctly be we dont hear them in game for example quotes when we build barracks and soldier tell us its done ... and i dont even mention unused units qoutes,heroes and so on . /:

This could be a possible defeat line for Lothlórien, using Thranduil's own words. As far as I know, this track is already available via his in-game sound set.

I was thinking for Imladris defeat we could use:
"There is nothing for you here. Only Death" (I think using the part when she has the flashback is better than the original because of the type of voice he's got)

Perhaps also the point where, from the same scene Elrond says:
"Nothing is certain..."

I guess ''There is nothing for you here, only death'' is well suitable to be the main candidate for Rivendell's defeat. The very sentence is quite lapidary: what we exactly need.

I've added everything to the original post. At this point I think it's safe to say that Gondor, Isengard and Angmar are practically complete. The rest of the faction just need more quotes in general, especially Dwarves.

I got some quotes for the Dwarves, mainly from the movies.

Defeat Quotes

Balin in the DoS:  We have lost the light.

Gimli in the Two Towers:  We have failed them.

Balin in AUJ: But there was no feast, no song, that night, for our dead was beyond the count of grief.


Victory Quotes

Balin in AUJ: Our forces rallied and drove the orcs back.

Balin in AUJ: There is one I can follow.  There is one I can call King.

In my opinion, Galadriel's and Thranduil's defeat lines are now quite sufficient. What is still needed are appropriate lines for victory; not really an easy task, given the tone of both LOTR (the whole melancholic and pessimistic attitude of hers) and the Hobbit (her doubts and fear of the return of the Evil). Therefore, nothing so much triumphant here.

The only possibility I thought about so far are the final words she foretells in front of the Fellowship, dealing with one of the fundamental pillars of its mission: the unity of the Fellowship itself. It might be a sort of reminder to the winner that hope does remain alive.

One for Galadriel, in the Hobbit when she is talking to Gandalf, she says "You are not alone in this fight" and some other hopefuly lines, there might be something worthy there.

Hello, I have been playing the Edain Mod for a little while now. I am sorry for posting here I did not know where to go. Regarding the sounds and voices: first off I am impressed! You guys have done a fantastic job as far as I am concerned. I have a few questions regarding some of your voices that are already in-game.
 First: When it comes to Aranarth of Arnor where did you get his voice from? It sounds like it's from a movie and a movie about the last kings of Arthedain.
 Second:-- The voices from Angmar's heroes. Where did you find them? They are obviously taken from movies but I was wondering from which movies? Most of them sound like they actually are fighting Arnor. If you guys could just list some down that would be awesome! This is a fantastic mod and thank you for making BFME 100x better!

As seen on the wiki:
Helegwen - Her voice files come from the character Ravenna, from the film "Snow-White and the Huntsman".
Zaphragor - Zaphragor's quotes are from the character Mathias, from Tomb Raider (2013).
Durmath - Dûrmarth's quotes come from Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman), Count Dracula's hunter from the movie of the same name

And you can find a lot more on the wiki. Although we're still trying to get all the voices done.

Hello people!  :)

I wanted to say, I really like you new project about adding new winning/losing match sound effects. Very nice suggestions so far. :)
Also, as person, I really care about sound quality in general. Every single PC game has most trouble with creating and storing sound files in general. The main part of game's data size is sound material. Why I am mentioning all of this? Please, I beg you, do not add sounds which are of bad quality, and when you have cutting from movie/youtube files, there is always a tons of examples. Also, there is no need for adding bad sound material it also increases size of mod... I just really want to point on this problem! :)

Just one small correction, last time I checked, Durmath has complete sound pack from game Heroes of Newerth, hero Witch Slayer. Also you can notice quality of that sound pack, completely clean. FG will correct me if I am wrong.
Araphant and Aranarth have sound packs which are created of cuts from movie Born of Hope. Characters from movie are Arathorn and Arador.
