Power of the Past Ages Tweaking

Hello Edainers,
I was playing Mordor (as always) with a couple brutal IA and when I finally got power of the past ages and used it. As usual Gorthaur the student of Aule appeared in all his badassness and began rampaging the land of Middle-Earth. I did fell a tinge of disappointment tough knowing I would no longer benefit from this power through this game.

What I'm saying is that I feel that too many of Mordor's end game power are one use only. Grond, Power of the Past Ages, Tol-in-Gorauth. Obviously with Grond and Tol-In-Gorauth you can't change it cause having a thousand of those running around on the battlefield would be a bit unbalanced, even though Grond could be made a bit more maneuverable... But for Power of Past Ages it would be nice if it could serve another purpose. !!Disclaimer!! I'm not a modder, what I asking for could be totally impossible, if so sorry to have wasted your time!!Disclaimer!!

Primary Effect
[Usual effect: Necromancer into Gorthaur]

Secondary possible effects (the goal would be to pick one)
The Student of Aule or Sauron are filled temporarily with the power of the past ages. (1 min) Sauron gains a speed boost and an attack speed boost (I feel attack speed boost might be a bit OP so I leave it up to you guys to decide). Gorthaur is filled temporarly with the power of the past ages and gains a defense and attack boost.
OR
The Student of Aule or Sauron are filled temporarily with the power of the past ages. Their spells recharge faster or are improved. (Like with Celeborn: Might of the Silver One)
OR
The Student of Aule or Sauron are filled temporarily with the power of the past ages. They invest their power into Tol-In-Gorauth and make it stronger (influence of Sauron) This could include effect such as: Morgul Spire ability unlocked or Defense plots appearing around the fortress or overall permanent defense/attack boost, or specific aura unlocked (dread face, leadership, ect...)
OR
The Student of Aule or Sauron are filled temporarily with the power of the past ages. They summon a rain of meteor that one kill everything on the map and gives them victory because Mordor is best faction ever and should be the only faction in the edain mod. ASH NAZG DURBATULÛK!!!

P.S: If I spent as much effort on my essays I would have finished school early. But then again if my essays were this interesting I probably would.

I agree that it would be nice for this to be useful after Sauron becomes Gorthaur. My suggestion would be to make it a similar system to Galadriels gifts of lorien, where if you use it on another hero besides Sauron it gives them some kind of a boost, although what boosts are appropriate I would leave up to the team.

Well, it didn't seem that way when your armies were getting trampled by the REAL best faction in the game at the Pelennor Fields now did it?  ;)

I like your idea of a gift of Lorien kind of thing. I mean right off the bat i can think of stuff like Mouth of Sauron: MOS is filled with power of past ages, his skills of speech are improved. Mollok is filled with the power of past ages for X time he can trample enemies without being slowed. Ect... Definitly something interesting, great idea :)

Hmmm, if I remember rightly your best warrior got killed by a woman in that same fight, along with 30 foot tall monster elephants, and all we had was horses :P

1. That grammar loophole was Mumakil crap
2. He was heartbroken by the loss of his pet (you monsters killed it)
3. You guys were two on one and merry had a dagger of the Noldor (i think)
4.This might turn into a full Mordor vs Rohan fight (probably)
5. If it does... Mordor !!FTW!! (obviosuly)
6(and last). You guys had your full force, Mordor on the other end: concentrated on Minas Tirith, nazguls were faceless and few, no sauron.
 
P.S: the ghosts victory is just some more Mumakil Crap

P.S.3: We should probably take this to another thread in general discussion, I'd actually like to see a forum thread with the idea of a debate of Rohan vs Mordor, what do you think?
