For the English wiki, I belive that your one has much more content and spent time.
For the German one it is the opposite. But two different urls is also bad...

We also shall discuss which layout to take. Both wikis shall have more or less the same design. The current German layout has some drawbacks.

Where do you have your background pictures from in your design? We should be carefully with copy rights and only use pictures which we are allowed to use.

About the amount of pages: What is the oppionion of your others?

Well, I kinda agree with The_Necromancer. I think it's better to have everything in one page or so. :)

For the background pictures I made myself from two pictures available on various image sharing websites.
As for the different URL I don't think it is so much of an issue as long as it is properly advertised. The way I see it is that it will rare that users will look for both wikis with the url but you might be right

According to the "Help:Merging wikias" article I linked above (on page one of this thread):

Which means, we could still use the URL edain.wikia.com as primary URL, while edain-mod.wikia.com will redirect to edain.wikia.com, yet have all Content including the Customizations of edain-mod.wikia.com.

That's one issues solved now three remain (i think):
-German side: Do we merge both but keep the edain.wikia.com as primary?
-Layout: Have we agreed on a layout or are we still discussing?
-You said there were drawbacks withe german side layout of edain.wikia.com, could you be more specific?
