Much that once was is lost.
Big changes this month and big only covers some of it. We've got some massive news and there is lot more too look forward to. This month we finally made a change we had wished to do for a while but none of us had ever dared to start for how daunting it was and how much we had going on. Also, don't worry about the quote it'll become clear later
.
-New Wikia Theme: This is one of the biggest pieces of news I've had to deliver in a while but hopefully not the last. We have finally taken care of the biggest issue we had: the color scheme of the Wiki. For a while it was white and green, yes, green. Why? I really wouldn't be able to tell you, it was 10 month ago and it wasn't exactly my most life changing moment so I forgot. But nonetheless we later decided to change it and that sprung a
gigantic conversation (at least for this wiki) which is still going as we are still tweaking the design. In the end, and with the help of the community on MU, we voted, debated and discussed while drafting various color schemes and finally it resulted in the now current color scheme which can be seen
everywhere.

New Template: A new Template called "Requires Update" has been introduced, this template is meant to fight against outdated data, something very present in the wiki of an ever evolving mod. If you see outdated information but don't have the mean or time to fix it you can simply click edit (top left of the page) and then press "Insert", "Template" and look up " Requires Update". There simply point out the outdated data and save your edit. This will help us track down obsolete information and fix it as quickly as possible.
-A new map has also been created on the the Wiki, courtesy of FG15.
This map allows any viewers to see the Middle-Earth location of any of the skirmish maps implemented in the mod. In addition you will be able to see more and more of the custom map's locations. Over time, we will link the custom maps and maybe even the skirmish maps directly to their own page.
-This month something quite unusual happened. For the first time in a very long time we have a lost a couple pages. We have gone from 351 to 342 because of a recent change in policy that moved all the pages of the dwarf heroes which were summoned by other dwarf heroes to the pages of the heroes who summoned them.
-New Polls: for the first time in forever we have changed the poll subject. Now don't worry your answers are still safe and sound within the Wikia system but you can now vote for your favorite Ring Hero by consulting the
main page. A Poll rotation has been established every two months.
-With this month every faction page has finally received their complete spell book template which attempts to mimic the in-game spell book to some extent.
-A few Editing policies have been changed due to recent debates, nothing major but now hero and unit pages will no longer have multiple navigation boxes and will not start with a heading either. Instead they will have the navigation box of their main faction and the pages will first display their appearances in the main faction.
-Another key policy change is that from now one instead of being centered around the outpost, factions will have section dedicated to all external buildings, units, heroes and upgrades.
That's it for this month. We look forward to the next coming months as they bring the promise of great things and many new possibilities. This month, while still bearing important news, was more of a filler month giving out small news pieces while announcing great ones. But ever does a shadow linger in the east, bearer of evil news and terrible change, let us hope it remains a shadow. To end on a positive note, stats:
