Yes, it's often true, at an extent.
Personally, I find Boromir's face a bit particular compared to other ones I have seen so far.
But, I don't really see any negative aspect in it  :)

Besides, I hope there will be slightly wittier remarks than drugs or brothels  [ugly]

In my own view, Boromir has a stupid grin which said "I just got laid, and it was greater than every fantasies I had in my imagination" written on his face. The only think it missed is a blush on his cheeks.
