Ok Turin I've done as you instructed and the message was as follows:

Turin Turumbar:
Does the error message still appear? After or before the selected server message?

Canis carcharothias:
For me, it doesn't appear. The server message appeared but the launcher downloaded and installed the update just fine.

The error message didnt appear and the download started.  However, after downloading the first of seven files the download timed out.  I will try again just to be sure.

However when i first run the launcher you put on drop box i get the following error:

Error: The launcher is not running in the defaults game path.  The launcher might not work correctly in this case.  Game folder according to registry: "Correct Path"  Current folder C:\users\me\Desktop\ (which is where i extracted it)

Yeah, the timeout happened to me as well, but then it worked nice!
