Wow, its so weird to me too. I have no idea what is causing these problems honestly. 
But never mind, you can play the latest update now, so i am fine. :)

How do you guys manage to update? Is it trial and error or plain luck? I really need a proper fix or perhaps a manual patch download. I have the same errors but unfortunately i just can't fix it like you guys did. Please help been here all day.

Thanks for replying Turin!

I downloaded and installed the files previously mentioned. The problem is, the launcher downloads the 4 out of 6 parts of the patch and it stopped there. I left it sitting there after 3 hours and nothing happened. Did the same process thrice and the same result. Stuck at 4 of 6 patch. I have to kill the Launcher using task manager. If there's a download link to the latest patch i would rather patch it manually. Thank you and i appreciate any help i can get.

Now it gives me this error Exception Message: Object Reference not set to an instance of an object.
