Hello Companions of Edain,
The Edain Wiki Team is proud to bring you the Companions of Edain Census, a project we hope you will all enjoy. The goal of this project is to visually display how widespread the mod, to be able to pinpoint precisely how many people this wonderful project has affected. It's also one way of giving back to the Team, showing them that their efforts have not gone unnoticed. The ends result would be a beautiful map with pinpoints in all four corners of the Earth which will show how widespread the mod is and how many people it has affected. A couple people, including myself, are already pinpointed and we hope to see more join us. If you wish to also pinpoint yourself, you can either follow the step by step guide below or you can simply reply to this thread with either a country or a city and it will be taken care of. We're also looking for feedback so if you have any suggestions for new features you're always welcome to post about them. We hope you all enjoy this little project and we're eager to see the end outcome  xD

Guidelines and Rules
-Avoid pinpointing your precise location. While I'm sure everybody on the Edain Mod only have good intents the map can be seen by all including anonymous users with less good intents. We recommend you pinpoint either the country or city but nothing more accurate than that.

-Do not pinpoint other's location. You are only allowed to add or remove your pinpoint, make sure to mention it on the forum when you are adding or removing your pinpoint so that they are not removed, this point is key to keep this safe as possible for everybody

-Check the list to verify if anyone has pinpointed you by accident. All pinpoints are listed below with the name of the pinpoint, check the list below to look for your name. If you see your name but have not pinpointed it yourself you can check the map to see where the pinpoint is and decided whether you want to remove it or keep it. All pinpoints which have had confirmation from their users will have CONFIRMED listed after.

Steps to add your pinpoint
1.Click the on Link
2.Click the pinpoint icon at the bottom right of the map
3.Click on either your current residence (can be changed later) or your country/city of origin. Do not pinpoit both, you must pick one
4.Name your pinpoint using your username
5.Add it to the "Companions of Edain" category
6.Save your pinpoint
7.Reply to the thread so that we can confirm it was you
8.Have a look around to know where the other companions come from (optional)
