Updating troublesome from 4.3 to 4.4.1

Hi guys,

Can somebody help me with my problem? I launched my Edain Launcher for patch 4.3 but I receive this Exception Message and I cannot update. Please help me. Here is the log:

Can somebody help me with my problem, please? I really want to play Edain mod 4.4.1 but I cannot update. I tried to reinstall my Windows 10 but it still has the same problem. Please help me

Did you download the newest Edain launcher?

Yes, I used the launcher 1.2.0.5 but it is still not working, could you suggest any solution

I don't know much about the launcher, so I can only guess what might help.
You could check, if your firewall allows the launcher to access the download page.
Redownloading the launcher might help, too.
Also you could look in the support forum if anyone has had similar problems and solved them.

I tried to look on firewall but I cannot find Edain mod in the list, so I added it manually but it is still not working. I also look at another post, they also have the exception message but each of them has a different error message. Some solutions said that it is because of Net Framework so I reinstall my Window 10 but cannot solve this problem. This message also happens when I install Edain mod 3.8.1. Basically, I can play the game but when I press update then I receive this message I cannot do anything. I don't know if anybody in this forum can supporting me. Thank you!!!

If the problem is .net Framework, you should try downloading the newest version of .net Framework. I'm not sure if that is normally included in Windows 10.

I already have the latest version of .net framework on windows 10. I search on the Internet for this error and they said maybe the <meta> tag is not close or inside <head> tag. This problem may involve with HTML but I don't know where is the HTML file for Edain server. Do you know how to post the whole log file here so I can post it for admin to see the problem?
