Antique Lyrics of Arda
Walküre:
The Pilgrim and the peak
The sharpness of the peak he crossed with resolve,
A task he was given by the Lady who does not die,
For an enquiry into the remnants of an old grudge,
To visit the tomb of the bane of the North, for riddles demand knowledge and must be solved.
Walküre:
The den of obscure hunger
Dark den of gruesome kind,
In terror it is known by evil and good mind,
Hideous the creature that there dwells and her hunger never ceases,
She is the offspring of whom in Arda once spread of darkness the malicious seeds.
Walküre:
Roots, leaves and raging branches
The fallen Istar deemed his rule not questionable and triumphant all the time,
The unpardonable crime of joining the Enemy and betraying the Light,
To build industry and machinery from the arising ashes of crafting, neglecting the love for life and the green that lives from the old days of the World,
Yet the antique roots and branches that guard the forest turned out to be the ruin of the wizard's design, as he dared too much and the wrath of ancient forces mindlessly he caused.
Walküre:
They have sworn, and not so lightly
Why couldn't the kin of Fëanáro just call off the hunt?
Why wouldn't they renounce vengeance, which hitherto only pain hath given?
They may not, for theirs was an oath that never broken shall be,
It is written in the book of fate, that always the Jewels are their imperative goal, albeit strife and grief for of Arda the whole.
Walküre:
The Rebirth of Hope
In need and fear, the fell mind always tries to come back,
To return in the World which it seeks to dominate,
Beware, evil soul, for the Good its hopes nourishes too,
And new saviours come for the rescue of all mankind, in sacrifice and fatigue, to make the legend and end the menace.
