Antique Lyrics of Arda

<< < (137/253) > >>

Walküre:
Erasure

All that is stained,
All which is dark,
All that lives without piety and mercy,
All that love has never known.

Why does such a world deserve to be given the privilege of doubt?
Allowing the illness to foster and garner vicious clout,
We shall be remitting fate in its hands, clear from flaw,
Only the One may erase any fault, in time not yet foretold, once it is set to leave its timeless dwelling, there, where the sole rule is law.

Walküre:
Soon shall you see

Why do you weep?
We are crossing the route of the blue, wide and deep,
A leap across the sea,
You stand with us, as accepted was your plea.

The worst burden was appointed to you,
Yet unforeseen courage has eventually led your path, force unknown and new,
All that is grievous will pass away,
Within the domain of the Archangels, whose bright land is told only by speech or old lay.

Walküre:
Fairest of all

I beheld thee, beside thy King,
Our King too, leader of clouds and mighty wing,
Thou art light along this pearl-made seat,
Fairest of all, we sing for you tales of valour and wit.

Walküre:
Bearer of worries

Broad heaven, you are crying in anger,
Fury makes you dim and menacing,
Fear you bring from a remote end,
I sense, something infuriates from afar,
Naught good nor well-boding,
For us, mere dwellers of the world,
Who just long for quiet life, away from the trouble,
Chaos that turns around and is made spread,
With an intent in mind, and it's an evil one,
You bear worries and dread.

What shall be of us into the approaching storm?

Walküre:
Seed of hope

Seed of hope, atop the marble, now disregarded,
Ever-silent yet guarded,
In hopes that tide shall turn,
As shadow advances and Men anew glory yearn.
