Walküre:
Here we sing and dance

Joy in the Shire, lyrics are sung,
To which we dance, lively and young,
When the bell of fine guests rung,
Thus we are joined by friends, after light arose above and green nature sprung.

Walküre:
The hazard of travelling

Weary must be the ones who wander,
We believe and greatly ponder,
The road gets raw and rough,
Never has the passage been easy, always has it tough.

Beware, mind the journey to the East!
You shall tread hostile shires, lesser and least,
Unto the broad South, where new shadows rise,
Poisoning the peace and spreading phoney lies.

Walküre:
The curse

Yonder, past the valley,
Out of the walls of paradise, led by grudge and folly,
Chained to sorrow, pitying the fate of our craft-mastering race,
Our King demands revenge, chasing the Foe and daring his foul mace,
We saw not, that eerie wraith,
Along the coast, defying the raging sea and our prideful faith,
The uncanny spirit spoke a terrible curse,
Binding our future, fouler than death and even worse.

''Proud Noldo, seeking command, thou shalt suffer for staining the immaculate ways of Aman with innocent blood,
Of thy very immortal brethren, thus challenging the law of Light, in the vain attempt to halt of time the unstoppable flood.''

Walküre:
A NEW DAY HATH COME

--- Zitat ---A new day hath come,
Be it welcomed with trumpet or drum,
On the vast Middle-earth, our wonder,
Far from the light dwelling yonder,
Whence the divine one assumed shape and flesh,
Thence love came and all made fresh,
Afar, we said, though mortal shires harbour too happiness,
Kept well in, amidst wilderness,
The brave shall head whither the foul hath seat,
To roam the unknown liberty and let loose his feet.
Much passed ere light was anew,
To render these marred ways lit and grow dew,
To water the green and its seed,
Where the just would wail and bleed,
Bright iron is to tread the continent, drawn by vengeance and by discord made feeble,
Still gallant, alas, to confront such evil,
Behold the sun rising, the new lamp of the West,
Raging in might and piercing the veil of night, so that the exiled Elda will not be of the world the unwanted guest,
Read, fellow soul, and hearken to the lay,
Wiser shalt thou be and know more to say.
--- Ende Zitat ---

Walküre:
HUSH, NOW!

Hush, now, hearken to me,
Canst thou find peace and glad be?
Listen to the jester singing and citing his fine-harmony words,
Which speak of splendid deeds, gracious maidens and despotic lords.

Merry, joyful and witty, thou wilt learn,
By means of the old goodwill,
Kindred to those conducting themselves right and stern,
Against ill odds and in the teeth of whom content may not feel.
