Greetings,
This thread is dedicated to the suggestion and voting phases for the monthly featured image, featured article and featured quote.
The voting period is divided into two parts: the suggestions and the voting.

During the suggestions time users are free to suggest images, quotes and wiki articles to be displayed on this thread. There are no rules for suggesting a featured items but it should be chosen with some amount of reasoning behind them and should be relevant to some recent events related to the Mod (does include fan-made content such as custom maps, submods and strategy guides).

A week before the end of the month all the suggestions will be made into a poll and you will be able to vote for one, at the end of the month the suggestions with the highest number of votes will be chosen and made into the featured item. If the number of suggestions is too high you will be able to directly vote by simply replying to the thread.

However, if there is only one item per category (quote, article, image) proposed until the end of the month, voting will not take place, instead the suggested stuff will automatically be considered as next months featured.

Remember: Even if you're not wiki editor you're more than welcome to suggest featured image, quote and article.

In order to make the homage to Ealendril a bit more characteristic, I guess we could also add Galadriel's lament as a sort of lament for Ealendril's 'departure'. It's not that we're mourning a loss, but her lament is renowned for its words of esteem and profound admiration for what had been Gandalf's role, along with his significance for the whole Middle-earth. Would you find the reference apt for our case?

That's a good idea, I shall add the lament using the same system that is used for quote, so that if users wish they may listen to it while they read the featured image's text.

Even if it was an Aprils Fools post I suggest that we make Dain featured image for May.
