Misty Mountains implementation of the BOTFA army
(1/1)
Azog The Defiler:
Now the MM faction release is getting closer, so ive thought on how to implement the botfa army since i cant really see it implemented in the mordor faction without making it a subfaction.
So the idea is for a new base, that could be built on outposts, which would symbolize the actual Gundabad fortress
This would in a good way implement the botfa material in the right faction and also give the faction a good addition concerning troops
Features
The fortress could work like the dwarven dale, as you buy upgrades it unlocks new units and alters its looks.
Design
The fortress was originally a dwarven fortress but the orcs occupied it for a long time, i think it would be fitting if the fortress would first look like an old dwarven fortress and as you buy the upgrades it starts to look more orcish and like in the hobbit.
The upgrade for the horn should give the fortress a large horn and flags on top pf the building, like the one in the movie
Units
Gundabad swordsmen, pikemen, archers and trolls
The orcs would be the ones from the current fortress of dol guldur, they could get a few changes to make them look more fit for the northern climate and dol guldur could get other features (also i think they are slightly unecessary as a part of mordors very large unit span.
Abilities
Gundabad horn: gives units in a targeted area a great increase in movement and damage
Gundabad unleashed(passive): trains units from the fortress faster

Hello! It's nice to see you here, one more time. I'm glad that you still have the right motivation to present other proposals in the forum. If you are not acquainted yet with the topic (forgive me, but this thread is really massive), there is a very long, lively and wide-ranging debate in which many people were recently involved. It encompasses very diverse themes, as Smaug or the faction itself. Should you be interested, you just have to head there. I wish you a fruitful endeavour :)
Azog The Defiler:
Thank you for the answer, and for showing me this thread, i hadnt seen it yet:D

Never mind. You will surely have a LOT to read and discover in the mazes of that broad debate ;)
