Launcher doesn't work

So, I tried to manually update the launcher and it doesn't work. There is that odd text on the right and the update button either crashes or does nothing. Any help please?

Does it give you any error messages? Where is the launcher installed? Is the game and the add on installed? Are both legal versions?

Both legal versions, no error messages, rebooting apparently fixed it. Still tells me "insert CD" when CD is in. Bah. Thanks!

You might try to start the game directly with the Desktop-Icon instead the launcher and might try if it changes anything if you use administrator rights.

I try to directly start the game from the Exe, rather than the icon. Edain doesn't add a new exe, does it?
