Edain 4.5: Siege Feedback
In this thread you can give us more detailed feedback about what you think of sieges in Edain 4.5.

In particular we are interested in the following questions:

* Which of the new siege engines and defense buildings is your favourite?
* Which of the new siege engines do you find useful and which would you regularily use in multi player games?
* Which of the (new) defense structures do you use? Why don't you use the others?
* How is the general siege feeling? Are sieges too easy or too difficult and does the defender have a chance for a comeback? Under what circumstances can the defender make a comeback happen?
* Which parts of sieges could be improved to make them more interesting and interactive?

Siege is unnecessary when playing with camps instead of fortresses. And since there are only a few good fortress maps, there is not much feedback to be given.

In the upcoming tournament (organized by fans) 6 out of 8 maps from the map pool are castle maps.

Also if you look at the edain ranked page, there is literally one game not played on a castle map, all the other games are played on castle maps. :)

Wonderful Siege gameplay,

Just sad that Isengard doesn't get specific defense buildings in the main buildplots.

The big Warg Sentries aren't there anymore and I think that's a pity. They are only available in the defensive buildplots which is a very nice idea, but still :

All the good factions except the special case of Lothlorien have specific defense buildings : the statues and wells. Even Angmar gets the Barrow Whight Lair which has some kind of defense properties.

Isengard doesn't have walls, and additionally now doesn't get any specific defense building.

I think this is the weakest faction in Siege defense and therefore not that interesting to play.

All the good factions are amazing to play in Siege defense though.
