Edain Mod 4.7.2 released!

Greetings, Companions of the Edain!
Today we released patch 4.7.2 for the Edain Mod.

You can now easily download this patch via the update function of the Edain Launcher.

If you have not yet installed an Edain version, you must first download the basic version as a complete package by clicking on the banner. However, you must use the update function of the Edain launcher after downloading to patch the Edain mod to the latest version. Click on Update until no more versions are available - this may take some time.

Bugfixes
4.7.2 brings a number of bugfixes: The Worldbuilder, which could not be started in some cases in the last version, can now be used again without errors. The Misty Mountains AI has been reworked again so that it no longer spawns buildings in the bottom left corner of the map. Many maps have been adjusted so that infantry is now better lit, and much more.

The Three Trolls
The three trolls from The Hobbit that Bilbo encounters on his journey have been given a new concept, further emphasizing their status as predators with a retreat. They are now closely linked to their hoard, which they can summon directly at level one, and which in turn can reach higher levels over time. Their new ability, Treasure Haul, plays a particularly important role here. You can read more details here, where we present the changes in detail.


Ring Heroes
Over the last few years, we've heard feedback that people felt not all Ring Heroes were on par with each other. We have therefore taken steps to strengthen these Ring Heroes so that no player leaves the ring behind because they may not want to be burdened with the disadvantages of finding it. This mainly concerns Smaug, Arvedui, and Gandalf the Corrupted:


* Gandalf the Corrupted:
* Speed increased by 25%
* HP increased from 3500 to 4500, self-healing doubled
* Ability damage increased by up to +100%
* Smaug:
* No longer passively sets the ground around him on fire
* Inner Flames can now be activated to set the ground around him on fire instead
* Sea of Flames will always activate directly underneath Smaug, making it easier to use
* Arvedui:
* Armor strengthened
* Small AoE damage added to standard attacks
* The King's Demand now reduces a farm's income to 0, but grants powerful healing and +100% experience to heroes in medium range until destroyed
* New ability: My line must not end! at level 10
Miscellaneous
Last but not least, 4.7.2 also brings several Quality of Life changes and balance improvements. For example, more intense colors are now available in the combat menu, which are easier to recognize on the minimap; the test hero "The Hidden One" has been further optimized; and some new sounds and FX have been added, for example for the Rallying Call. The focus of the balance is on the Misty Mountains: Their economy was a bit too strong and therefore received several nerfs, while on the other hand we implemented buffs for rarely seen alternative outposts. General
* Colors intensified
* The Hidden One can now make himself untargetable and invulnerable
* The Hidden One can now increase CP beyond the actual maximum
* Reinforced Garrison is now easier to see through another projectile
* HP of light rams reduced from 1600 to 1200
Gondor
* Statues can now be built on defense plots in camps, but without the hero reduction
* Imrahil's Atheling Guard's HP increased from 1750 to 2187 (+25%)
* Imrahil's Atheling Guard's is permanently under the effect of Discipline
* Emergency troops are now visually recognizable as they no longer carry shields
Rohan
* Statues can now be built on defense plots in camps, but without the hero reduction
* Watchtowers can now research the Reinforced Garrison
* Draft's radius reduced from 100 to 75
Isengard
* Sharku's Blood Hunt now automatically gives nearby wargs the Howl buff for 60 seconds without them having to activate. Does not stack with Warg's Howl.
Mordor
* Banner of the Red Eye now sounds a horn
Lothlorien
* Improved Combat Training upgrades are now researchable in Border Guard Quarters
* Galadhrim Quarters buildcost reduced from 750 to 650
* Lorien Citadel buildcost reduced from 800 to 600
* Lorien Citadel HP reduced from 6000 to 4500, receives +1000 HP and better armor through border guard wings
Imladris
* Statues can now be built on defense plots in camps, but without the hero reduction
* Watchtowers can now research the Reinforced Garrison
* Archer damage on the Dunedain outpost reduced from 30 to 25
Dwarves:
* New sound for rallying call
* Ered Mithrin strengthened:
* Zealots are now semi-elite, build costs adjusted
* Zealots' Sprint buffed from +30% to +50% speed, duration increased from 20s to 30s
* Dragonslayer area damage slightly increased
* Dragonslayer HP increased by 20%
* Bastion of Ered Mithrin HP reduced from 10000 to 8000, can now be equipped with runes
* Bastion of Ered Mithrin upgrades improved
Angmar
* Witch King: "For the Iron Crown" area damage reduced from 30 to 25, lifesteal reduced from 25% to 15%
* Rhudaur Axe Throwers reach higher levels more slowly
* Thrallmaster hordes now behave like other hordes in terms of CP
* Archer damage on the Carn Dûm outpost reduced from 50 to 40
* Barrow Crypt buildcost reduced from 600 to 300, requires more experience for higher levels
* Gulzar: Plaguebearer cast range reduced from 400 to 150, damage reduced by 33%
* Sanctum of the Iron Crown: Skills moved to the Palantir for ease of casting, hotkeys fixed
Misty Mountains:
* Great Beasts building damage reduced
* Great Beasts HP reduced from 2500 to 2000
* Goblin-town Slave Holes are now correctly affected by supply routes (bugfix)
* Goblin-town Slave Holes now produce 75% less resources when not connected to the tunnel by scaffoldings
* Goblin-town tunnel resource production reduced from 40 to 10
* Goblin-town raiders now slow down riders only half as much
* Summoned Goblin-town Plunderers lifetime reduced from 60s to 30s
* Summoned Goblin-town Plunderers are limited by the CP limit
* Goblin Lair income reduced from +28 to +21 per tick
* Wild Goblin Warrior build cost increased from 50 to 75
* Wild Goblin Warrior build time increased from 18s to 21s
* Wild Goblins now only slow down trampling cavalry half as much
