I think you have your own avatar and don't want to use one of the avatars the forum has already :P
So click at "Eigenes Bild:"
In the gap after that you have to put the html code to your avatar. Mine is for example http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/4301/gnomirudolph.png

Do you use the English language pack? If not, click "Profil"->"Benutzerkonto"->"Verwendete Sprachdatei"->"English"
