Vielleicht kennen ihn einige hier nicht, aber mir gefielen einige Lieder der Band....

Von Blind Guardian geht "Nightfall" noch etwas in die Richtung, vielleicht noch "When Sorrow Sang".
Richtige Balladen, also mit Begleitung im Stile des Intros von Lord of the Rings wären einmal natürlich "The Bard's Song - in the Forest", außerdem "Skalds and Shadows" und "Curse My Name".
Stimmungsmäßig könnte man von Nighwish "The Islander" noch nennen.
Eine weitere Band bei der du passende Songs finden könntest wäre Sonata Arctica.
