Wow, it looks very good ^^. I think, you have to speak with Turin Turambar, the creator of the official Edain Mod Switcher. His Switcher you can find here:
Modding Union Forum > Edain Mod > [Edain] Ankündigungen > Edain Mod 3.8.1 Switcher 4.1.4
I hope your mod switcher will find some recognition from the Edain Team and the community ^^.

Mostly is just design stuff. Believe you could easly code it using HTML5, but i dont have skill to make it happend. :) I can provide all PSDs, buttons, tables, and layout responses needed to do it, but i cant go further then that.

A experienced coder could use Parallax even to make it animated and create smooth fade transitions between screens.. then would be epic. :) Got a friend who knows how to do it.. but he just became a daddy, so my arguments to make him work.. failed miserably. :D Cant blame him.

Considering that most of the switcher screens are covered and i scratched the whole thing, hurts my feelings to read it just as a *blizzard reskin*, lol. But yea, i started it over battle.net main screen. Took out some stuff, added another.

Isnt finished thou, this is just preliminar work, have tons of errors.. Ill rearrange some stuff when i get time. Thing i like about this little scheme is that you can easly change the layout using just a pic. 

Well, thanks for the attention, ill bring this post to the Switcher foruns and see how far it goes.

Heh, no worries, actually i kinda feel blame for it. Partially.

They didnt patented the alignment system after all.. XD

Thanks, im looking for suggestions to improve it and make it
EdainTeam-desirable ;) I feel bad that it runs away from
the mainstream design we see in Edain stuff, wich is most
fantasy design, that fits better on LOTR universe then Aero
transparency like i did.

But.. well, the future is today, lol, so.. why not?

So, im looking for ingame pictures / screenshots of Edain epic battles, nice cinematic poses and good map takes.. If anyone have a sexy screen from a good game would be great if you can share it! :)

Well, guess if the launcher is meant to be for Edain 4.0, you'd need to get screenshot of that Edain version. So i guess you'd look into the videos for Edain 4.0 or ask an Edain teammember for a couple screenshots :P

Hmm, indeed, i didnt considered the fact that 4.0 changes maps a lot..

Im trying to stay away of copyright'd pics, so the best to do is use ingame footage to actually make the backgrounds, but as you stated, most of stuff will change in 4.0, so im kinda stuck with digital art stuff.

Guess ill keep bothering Turin for pics. :D

Cool Update ^^. On top of that your edit of the first post looks very good respectively your taste for middle-earth related pictures is very good.
Another topic: Is there some development concerning the cooperation with Turin Turambar? Would be interesting to know ^^

Thanks, actually the new update comes from Turin's tips. ;)

Turin is givin all the support he can, and taking this to the Edain Team. He's also been having very patient with me spamming his box the whole day. :) Its all very preliminar since they have an extra concern with copyright laws and pictures, wich makes sense considering Germany laws.

Thou, i just got some news from an featured artist in D.A and he allowed us to use his art, so we have like a big head-start to make things move. When we have this sorted, believe we can hope for some real action next week.

So.. one step closer to make it happen :)

Great! I can't wait to see all the cool new stuff myself (not that the current version of the switcher is ugly in any way ;)).

By the way, where do you find all those images? Did you just google "lord of the rings artwork" or something?

About the pics, well, yea, deviantArt helps a lot too, but its mostly googled.. I have tons of pics saved from previous modding experiences too, so i gathered a little collection of different kinds of tolkien related pictures.

But, for the launcher itself were doing an effort to get just clean and authorized images, so its most of them from D.A and its respective artists. :)

Ill show some experiences with ingame icons later, btw  xD

Hey, this is looking pretty good, but i think it doesn't fit in this topic anymore. As for the icons i think Edain already has some pretty good icons and those will probably get even better for 4.0 :)If you really want to share your ingame icons, do this in a seperate thread as this is not related in any way to the Edain Launcher UI

I gotta thank you guys too for being so receptive, for all the hard work and late nights already spent on insane coding.

Also for keeping an open mind for new ideas. Turin could had just said *ours is good enough*, wich actually is,  8-| and none of this would be happening, but here we are..

We had some development :)

Some things were changed to make it more user friendly and easier to use.
Also there was a lot of re-study of concepts and BGs to reach the current state ;) Finally, we needed authorizations for all the pictures, wich is a resolved case aswell.

So i believe we will have something nice by this month! :)

And you only do it English or in German too?
Because all your Pictures are in English and the mod is in German, that would be a bit strange  :D

Heh yea, we're doing versions for both english and german. :)
As german is kinda experimental to me, i stick to english previews xD
But Turin gave me all the needed feedback that Google Translate couldn't,
so, i think we're good. ^^

I love those Skins for the Swithcer,The Lonely MOuntain,Thorin and MOria and eveything they look so good!Turin is the best in this I always enjoyed his work and now I do even more!I wanted to ask is it possible for him to make a Skin with Iron Hills Army or Dain with and without Helmet and such,theri cavalry or Chariots and suhc things I am jsut asking! :)
And is it posssible for me to get Thorin for the Skin!/Not that the current one is not actually when I saw it I fell in love with the Swithcer for which I thnaky ou both for your hard work! :) I am jsut more a fan of Dwarves and Erebor so I wanted to ask! ? :)
