I cannot download the launcher from modd because my computer regesters it as unsafe and I cant get any file openers to open it so I had to use a different mirror for the demo edain mod. 4.0.
I clicked the update from the launcher I get from the demo download (seems to work) and everything updates fine. but earlier in a post I read u didn't need 2.05 for the game. because it wouldn't start something about weather loop error, so I uninstalled rotwk 2.05. do I still need the launcher in order to play the game. if so is there a link that I can download it from that isn't modd?

You don't need to download the launcher update if you are able to install the update via the launcher.
