I just installed the mod and when i try to start the game it crashes almost right away.
I have LotR ROTWK special edition installed.
Do i have to have the original installed?
I have included the error that i get when tryin to launch the game.

Do you have the unofficial patches activated?
Those 'patches' are only mods and therefore won't work with edain, you have to deactivate them (both for Bfme II and Rotw) before you install edain.
The Upgrade which has a problem doesn't even exist in edain, so it's probably part of one of the unofficial patches.

Yep that was the problem, thank you.
Another little thing i have now with the game, when i am in the menu there is a big pink box in the upper right corner, im guessing that's not normal, any idea what that is?
I can include a picture of the problem or hardware specs if that helps.

Try to reinstall edain (or the mod)
Probably there are still some problems because you installed both mods at the same time in the beginning. :)

Right again, reinstalled the mod again after my last post and that fixed that problem.
