On Caras galadhon :

- Regardless of the faction, there is a camp that appears at the start of the game when you take the point on the right. It is a fortress and that should not be the case...

- It is Caras galadhon... There is no big Malorn tree in the heart of the map where the fortress is when you pass the bridges. Why ? :(

- The main fortress makes a Mordor sound also !  xD

On Cair Andros Fortress :

- It is impossible to recruit Gandalf in the citadel but ok in the outposts... Is this intended ? It may also affect other factions... I know the changes about the heroes but Gandalf should always be in the citadel no ?

- The upper right gate is a 4 000 HPs... And it is the only one to have only this number.

- Gates HPs in general on the map : It is a small map and the amount of HP of the gates seems very very high no ? I didn't test if it is possible to rebuild them but... I think it is a bit extreme...

General Lothlorien maps :

Since the last update, there are now many Lothlorien maps... For more visibility, I think it should be better if they were all named like this :
"Lorien : Caras galadhon"
"Lorien : Naith"
"Lorien : Woods"
etc

This should be apply also the maps like Rohan... We have a lot of great maps but the current number tend to hide them, tag them with a region is very efficient like for Arnor.

When using "Legendary Heroes" there are many maps that have 12000 CP at the start.  Should I report all of those or is that a bigger problem that isn't easily fixed?  I've found it on at least nine maps, I'm sure there are more where this happens.  If I change it to a normal skirmish on those same maps the starting CP is back to 500.

Gondor Heroes are completly bugged in fortress maps.

Not only is the problem with Gandalf already reported but sometimes you click on the hero button to recruit him and it doesn't work, the cooldown doesn't start but... you pay for him !

Sometimes, In Minas Tirith's Horde map, I checked I have paid more than 7000 only to recruit Gandalf in the outpost because it has rejected my request two times ! But that's also the case with Faramir, Boromir, Beregond, Imrahil.

That makes Horde maps almost unplayable with Heroes with Gondor.

On the Lostriand Map (6P), if a Dwarven AI is placed in the top left position, their top left most buildplot (based on overview of the map) spawns off of the map behind the troll lair at the back of the left hand side.

A camp spawns in every castle map, it will be fixed for all castle maps in the next version.^^ (same for mordor supports and Sauron)

When did it happen? If it was not from the begining, but after a ring hero died, it is a lgobal bug, not a map bug. (happens rarely)

Hard versions are bugged in Helm's Deep Horde map.
If you have Rohan, with two players you get 7 000 ressources. But if you are only one player, you get 1 400 instead of 14 000.
With Dwarves and Angmar, you start with only 1 000 ressources when with the majority of factions, you begin with 10 000.

Defend the Shire
There is a missing string for the standing army level 3  upgrade.

Lake town captains only discount by 4 but the standing army string states 5.

The standing army level 2 upgrade gets researched when a guardian of dunland is built

The hero druedain  isn't properly removed at the end of each round. An unclickable version is left in cheer status

Armed Galadhrim upgrade is locked off permanently

Caras Galadhon guardians have the odd upgrade choice of 159

Elk Riders passive doesn't work and the upgrade description needs to say "Shoot from the saddle" instead of "shoot from sattle"

Black riders are still spawned on the enemy sidd even if there are no enemy players. Similar for winged shadows who also attack Lorian making it impossible to progress.

The nature sorcerer's attack also seems broke, enemies units are not paralysed.

Against AI. Standard skirmish.

Dol Amroth, fresh start of the game, playing solo Lothlorien against Mordor. I'm in the north-east, he's in the west spot. In the middle of a fine game, I juste fly over the empty fortress to see if I can take it, then the game crash with the message of memory.
I don't remember but I think I already played just fine as Gondor in the fortress.

I encountered a couple of typos in the map descriptions during map selection, and thus went through them all. I'm sorry if some here were intentional, I just joined the community so I'm far from aware of dev intentions. Here's what I caught:

-Arnor
has a spelling of 'Men.n' near the end of the description
-Arnor: Mitheithel spring
Since it concerns a map name; I think it would make sense to spell spring with capital S.
there's a space between 'important' and the comma
-Celebdil
There's a double space before 'Caradhras'
-Isengard (cursed)
In description Isengard is spelled with a t.
-Cirith Ungol
Double space after Shelob's lair
-Eaves of Fangorn
A floating quotation mark at the end of the description
-Fords of (the) Isen I & II
Map I is spelled Fords of the Isen, Map II Fords of Isen.
-Golf of Line
double space before 'the golf' and 'the golf' should have capital?
-Lorien
Misses map info (camps, lairs etc.)

So far from what caught my eye. Especially concerning certain capitalisations they might just as much be intentional, but I wanted to point it out regardless :)

Hello there, I've found a bug in the latest patch, 4.5.4, it's on the map "Naith of Lorien"
Reinforcements of Rhun and Harad does not appear on the map, even with a lot a command points.

Stonewain Valley appears to be bugged. When playing with 2 players, the second players base won't spawn and will get killed at game start.

Hello ! I'v been playing War of the Ring, and in some maps the game doesn't ends. I'd kill every visible force and take every building, but the game goes on. I noticed some units are outside the edge of the map and they arrive only when you get close to that edge. 

-On Dagorlad, after some time, a mumakil comes from the edge on North, I kill it, and no victory screen. Then another one arrives 15 minutes later from that same edge (I took a screenshot, but can't post it here). I also found random units stuck in a mountain on the right of that spot

- I don't remember wich map(Maybe Old Brown Lands), but, again, after killing everyone and taking every structure plot, the game doesn't ends. There would only be Sauron's whisper thing ( I think it's a power ? ) after a while.

I noticed, once I concede, the graph shows that the enemy has a bigger army than me . My theory is that the A.I are building up forces outside of the map ?

In Defend of Shire map when I build Dale Archer his commandset turns into Lorien Archer's. (Calas Caladhon guards and elven warriors looks upgradeable). And Druedains not disappears after wave is over. They are just staying there.

In Defend the Shire map:

1) Haldir's Galadhrim can't be upgraded to normal Galadhrim, even I have enough cost to upgrade them
2) Haldir's Galadhrim has a broken texture.

Dwarven outpost bug on Valley of Ered Luin:
Players was playing with:
- Mordor (player): top left
- Dwarves: top right
- Lothlorien: bottom right
- Angmar: bottom left

The dwarven bug was located in the bottom right corner of the map

I found that problem too. In fact, when we launch a game, in skirmish or in network mode whatever, we will fall randomly either on an accurate Legendary Heroes game or in a bugged game with 12 000 command points where heroes have no bonus of damage or armor. The problem is general and concerns all maps.

Trying to play with a friend in Legendary Heroes can be annoying because each time you start a game, there is only 25 % chance that both players get the accurate Legendary Heroes standards, plus the fact that preparing a game in network always takes a bit of time. With more players, let's just forget about it.

Imladris also doesn't build structures when allie with it on the Orocarni map. I played an eight player game with all AI, 4v4, 4000 resources, all AI being at hard difficulty level. None of the other factions appeared to have this bug.



Playing this map with the full six players, all hard AI, you can play the map for about a good 10 or 15 minutes before it crashes. I've tried to save it and reload it to finish the match, but only about 5 minutes in or less, it keeps crashing. I even tried the experimental performance boost, and still no change to the crashing.



On the map Mines of the Iron Hills, if you have a medium Mordor ally when you are either Rohan or the Dwarves, and the Mordor ally is in the bottom right corner, it will continually send orcs to attack the structures that are by default part of the map, the ones that are built into the sides of the mountains. They do no damage to them, so they don't stop attacking them the rest of the game.

But please pay attention whether the bug was already reported earlier, and if it was, don't post it twice - it makes going through bug reports much more of a hassle. In this case, you yourself reported it very recently (the post right above this one). I moved your reports to the appropriate section of the forum in the meantime.

For the custom map by H4lbarad, the Rohan Open World map (v2.2), I've noticed that sometimes the game will just randomly crash if you play as Rohan in control of both Helm's Deep and Edoras (playing alone, not with an ally, having the Edoras map placement selected for yourself, which automatically gives you control of both fortresses), and up against a Medium level Isengard in that fortress and a Medium level Mordor both allied together.

I've also noticed that if you try to have a Rohan Medium level AI ally in Helm's Deep, with you yourself being Rohan in Edoras, against the same level and kinds of enemies listed above--and even if both AI's are Isengard--the game will automatically crash without even loading up the map.

For the Rise of Angmar (v1.2) custom map by H4lbarad, if you play as Gondor in the spot specified, and play with all other AI in the spots specified, with Rivendell as a Medium level AI ally and the evil factions allied but your enemy, the game crashes automatically to the desktop with an Out of Memory error of some sort.

Please do not use bug threads to report bugs from custom map or content not made directly by the Edain Team. Only report bugs that happen on official maps while using a unmodified version of the mod.

That was my first idea, but I couldn't find anything on the maps I was reporting on. The closest thing I could find was the forum on Map Suggestions, but it didn't look like it was for bug reports, only suggestions. Do you have an example you could show me for the maps I reported on, specifically? I believe they were done by Halbarad.

On the map Emyn Arnen, if you play in Skirmish as Mordor with a medium level AI against a medium level Rohan and Lothlorien teamed up, the game crashes about 5 minutes in. I had Ring heroes turned on and customs off with normal 1k resources.

On "Horde: Stonewain Valley", the bug where any non-host human player is defeated immediately due to the lack of a camp persists.


On "Horde: Minas Tirith", the Oathbreakers that arrive to help at some point supposedly belong to the players, but cannot be controlled and just uselessly stand around in a massive clump after clearing the very southern corner of the wall of Minas Tirith.
Is it possible they are the Oathbreakers Aragorn summons in his circle, instead of controllable ones?

Also, on the same Map, Gondor at least has massive issues with recruiting heroes (which I believe was already reported at some point to a degree, but I have a few points to add)
- The first time I tried to buy Denethor and Faramir, each subtracted 1700 from my ressources, but were not recruited
- After the Rohirrim heroes died, they overwrote several Gondor heroes (in an irregular pattern, definitely observable in the Archery Range and Citadel, with Theoden as the Corrupted appearing first in the Range and later in the Citadel)
- Later, when Aragorn and Denethor died, clicking on the buttons to revive them had no effect at all, even though they looked perfectly usable.

Factions: Me as Isengard with Medium Angmar against two Mediums, Rohan and Imladris.
  My ally and myself were in the bottom starting locations.

Bugs: 

1. This Angmar ally will sometimes build structures and units while just keeping all units inside the fortress. Not sure if they need to be provoked by an attack or not, but they were never attacked in these games to know.

2. I tried to build an Outpost at the middle left spot, and was able to, but the top right build plot on that Outpost would not appear. Not sure if this is consistent, but I've seen this happen on other maps before, too.

Imladris AI doesn't work on Dagorlad 6 player map. Imladris were bottom mid and right positions. Played 4000 resource start, no custom heroes enabled. Ring heroes enabled.

Old forest:- Immortal AI, destroyed all outposts, farms, fortress buildings and all wall hubs but AI does not get defeated. The immortal AI began on the top left spot.

Tower hills:- 1K start gives random players 3K, on a 2v2.

horde map minas tirith: i can't move the ghosts at 10300 points.in detail: the bug I had during the horde mission is: I cannot select the traitors you receive at the end of the mission in the mini map they appear as mine (i.e. with my color) but I cannot select them and consequently I cannot finish the mission because towards the end you have too many elite enemies that you cannot defeat without the help of the traitors.

Ravens in Tower Defence circle too much and/or have too low a capture radius, it's difficult to get them in the right spot to be able to build a tower.

Hello! If i start a skirmish in Edain 4.6 at Dol Goldur inside the fortress, all icons for buildings inside the fortress disappear after a few seconds. I tried various times with Mordor, always the same problem.

There is something wrong with Beornings on the Return of the Shire mission (the map with 4 players). On beornings it says "60 Damage and Area of Effect". Something is wrong with this because Lake Town Soldiers, who has 35 damage can kill a basic orc with 1 attack while Beorning has to attack 3 times. And also their Area of Effect radius is pretty short.

On the map after I reached the wave which Angmar Snow Trolls are started to be sent, I noticed that Orc Barricade can't attack them. Orc Barricade was upgraded with Morgul Orcs, Fire Arrows and Black Uruk Archer.

On Rivendell map as Imladris (team 1) against Brutal Mordor and Goblins (Team 2 at -10%) with normal scrimmage 4000 starting resources ring heroes on and create hero on my team as random. Map crashes on load due to Resting Camp TD object missing modules.

- Don't know if it's intended, but the Mirkwood 4 players map is not considered a Mirkwood Map. As such, Tauriel is a temporary summon, rather than a permanent hero

in berg gram last time i was fighting against isengard. I tried  several times with different factions too with the same bug at the end of the battle. For Dol guldur i tried just once, i do not remeber the factions. I have the same problem on a different pc.
i didn't know for other fortress maps so far

Wanted report a bug with the Dol Amroth map. When playing there as Gondor in the city itself, you cannot recruit any units. Ex. the door to the barracks will open but no units will be produced. Also all the units are free and have a 2 sec recruit time it seems even though they dont actually recruit
