Now that Drogoth is gone.Will you eventually add an armored Dragon or something like this.Because removing Drogoth doesn't automatically mean that you will not use his model and abilities.
Buhrdur and Drogoth were discarded because not only were they entirely made-up, they also shared the same role of area damage dealers - a role that was also occupied by Smaug. We couldn't find a way to give all three of them radically different yet useful abilities (especially between two dragons), so we decided to keep only Smaug and make him more central and relevant as the faction's unique destroyer.

Why not a French version? Easy answer: No one in the team speaks French.
We only have a German version of the Mod, because the whole team is German or speaks German.
The English version is there because most people in the world will understand English.
French is not necessary. :D
You always need to think of the amount of work you would need to put in to add another language and its a lot. You would need to translate all the texts, then find good sounds, cut them, convert them and code them into the game. Simply not possible for our team.
But as said often: If you want to make Edain in your language: Do it! We are open for fan made translations. ;)

What faction will be the next, because you have said thatr Misty Mountains is the faction which need more work and try to launch any other faction could be more quicly and easy. So what faction will be the next? Imladris, Lothlorien or Angmar?
Will the Men of The East become more important in future updates? I'd like to see that because I feel they are underrepresented in 4.1.2.The team already told some hundred times that Easterlings, Haradrim and Corsairs are currently implemented to Mordor and that they are content about the way they are implemented at the moment.
1. Because they were set completely new.^^ Some spots also cause problems, as most of the edain objects are a bit bigger than the BFME objects, therefore some spots don't fit.
2. This is a bug, please write it in the bug section and not here (just for better overview, as it's really difficult to look at the bug reports, when they were written all over the whole forum)
It's not out of the question, but at the moment we're pretty happy with Earnur's place.
-In response to what you said gnomi that's not true :/ many mods ( 2 mods lone wolf and the dwarf holds) made their castle hexagonal and they look fantastic aren't too big and have plenty of space.

Well perhaps the demand for the Misty Mountains faction is so high that the Team is working their asses off to get this faction ready for the next release? We will find out someday, I just hope it will be MM xD!
Why are some Members Administrators (Rings) and are other ones of a sort of 'inferior' grade (Leaves of Lórien), more like Global Moderators?Administrators are the highest authority on the MU. They stand above the moderators, who have their powers only within their own board. It has to do with the history of this website, I guess. It started back in 2008, and back then Edain was just one mod of many (well, not too many, but the point still stands :P). That's why it was called Modding Union, it was meant to be a place for all the BfME-modders to come together. While each team had a moderating function within its own board, the administrators were not only responsible for their own mod, but for the website itself. Ealendril is an administrator since day one, because he was a key figure in setting up the website, while other administrators were part of different mods (or in Simbyte's case, no team at all afaik). But with more and more mods dying out and the modders themselves leaving the MU, the admins had to be replaced.
Is it something concerning personal activity and story in this project, specific technical knowledge or something else? :)

He is a mass slayer and therefore he has some very useful abilities, but he won't deal great damage on a single target. Rohan's hero killer is Eowyn, so you might want her to take Wormtongue next time. ;)

I know it takes some time, but try to find out, which hero fits which role in faction, because since 4.0 it really matters. :)

Don't know if this has been already asked or not: can you actually recruit Ents anymore if Galadriel accepts the Ring? Because in the description it says you can't, but a friend of mine, who also makes her accept the Ring, told me he was still able to recruit them nonethelessIndeed, description has to be adapted, seems as if we had overlooked it. xD ;)

you are able to recruit melee and ranged Wildmen in the dunlending hut. Every of them can be upgraded with a special torch-upgrade. If sparkles are because they are sparkles of white light which indicates on general good ok. I just asked is possible to make some dark version of them.

To me I like to think that Dain adopted the AUJ Erebor Armor as a sign of its Rebirth and Respect towards the Kings of Old and Khazad-Dum,to me those Armors are heritage from Khazad Dum! :) So I would love to see AUJ Armors as Erebor Armors thats all while IHs wil lbe for what Dwarves Ramained in IHs! :)

Also i have to say that Sauron is vikSauron is perfectly balanced at the moment or at least near perfect. His shadow form his weak serving mostly as a unit support/interferer and building supporter. However you can always try to level him up unlocking new abilities, or you can power him up with the Ring or Power of Past Ages which unlock some of the deadliest characters in the mod.

I think there is already a couple pretty good Minas Morgul map and a Dol Guldur map under construction. As for Barad Dur, weirdly, no one has tried doing it which is weird considering its importance but I know nothing of mapping so who am I to judge.

I really liked the Elkriders, the only problem for me is that they are only ranged units... I would like to see Melee Elkriders, or add a Sword Subweapon for the existing Elkriders and fight like Thranduil did in the Battle of the Five Armies xD

How can I report a bug in a map-specific easter egg without having the risk to spoil it to other players?

(Because you said more than once that a campaign like the ones in BFME isn't possible)Of course it is possible - possible with Edain 4.0.^^ But you cant convert the full bfme1 mechanics, like the livingworld etc.
The team has stated that every old map will be reimplemented in Edain 4.x (as long as it is possible). But they always added to this statemend that converting takes some time.

I was wondering if there is a plan to make some chanings before Misty Mountains release like siege and power spell menu or it depends on requests of team members and players. I know Narya, Axe of Doriath, Woodsmen of Anduin, Guards of Orthanc, Ancient Might of Galadriel but is there any addition or accepted idea? There is not full list, this remains an enigma. I just want to know how it works.

I have a faction specific question here it goesThe stealth detection of the Ringseeker has a radius of 400, while the eye of Sauron has a stealth detection radius of 500, though its buff and debuffs only have a radius of 150.
playing as mordor is really fun I like it for the most part but one thing bugs me sort of
when you name a nagul as a ringseeker or whatever its called in game I see that it gets a name change and a fellbeast and it should get a stealth detection ring around it but without a particle effect or even a simple ring on the ground terrain I have no idea how big that stealth detection actually is.
is that stealth detection ring as big as the eye of sauron? bigger or smaller?

I have a question similar to this last one. Are custom maps made in earlier versions of the 4.0 line generally compatible with the modern versions? I've found some that appear to work alright, but I'm waiting to see if any major issues show up; while others seem to crash automatically, but I'm not sure if it's compatibility issues or some bug inherent in the map itself irrespective of what version I'm running.
Like the last post was wondering, if it is, in fact, compatibility, it would, in this respect, be handy sometimes for Edain to have backwards compatibility or a patch switcher like ROTWK currently has. But I understand there's only so much that can be done.
I think what you are talking about is the following:
With 4.0 we changed some of the places, where numbers for all the different values are stored. They are all stored at the same place right now. Before 40, they were saved all over the place. That's what we wanted to change and also what we did change a few years ago. :)
