Hello, I'm new on this forum. The Edain mod I liked it from day one, and now I would like to share with you my ideas. I saw the great work you have done in 4.0 and can not wait to come out a new faction. But now I want to talk about Gondor and new and possible outposts.
These are my ideas:
An outpost would with Osgiliat, the last defense of Minas Thirit, with the following units:
- Rangers of Ithilien (Archers, and soldiers)
- Gondor Soldiers
- Madril (as hero)

Another outpost would with the other vassals of Gondor, and finally as a last outpost would put Rohan, with the ability to recruit support Rohirrim.

I hope you like my ideas, and if I can insert it again in the future :)

I like the idea but I think this will affect the balance of the game. But this is a good idea for a SubMod.

Agree with Glorfindel, it's a good idea but giving Gondor 4 special different outposts along with the ability to recruit specialists troops easily would be too unbalanced. An of the moment each of the aspect you mentioned is well implemented within the spell book and other external build plots.

Yours is a good idea, although I would love the idea of 'outpost of Osgiliath.
I imagine that for other units (vassals of Gondor and Rohan) support there are no problems because they are still recruited in some way, even if I would put him outside help, permanently (Dunedain of the North, The Ride of Rohirimm) and I would leave invarato, temporarily the onslaught of the dead ...
If possible I would also add the watchtowers in outdoor plots xD

Regarding your proposal, I mostly agree with Necro's objections: that would make the faction too overpowered according to the common standards and the option of adding those elements via multiple outposts wouldn't be very reasonable by itself. One of the most iconic features of the Edain Mod is exactly the implementation of many different concepts in the most diverse ways (outpost, spellbook, upgrades and other innovative mechanics). This peculiar aspect ensures the great uniqueness of the game without the gameplay being too much repetitive or ossified.
