Greetings, Companions of the Edain!
With this post, we want to announce the beginning of a new contest: The official Edain Mod Screenshot Contest.
In the past there have been more than one contest of this kind, but the last of those has already some years in the past. Therefore, we decided to carry out something similar again, and we are looking forward for your active participation!
What is this Contest?
*wanted is the best image, voted and chosen by the Community.
*you have to create an appealing game situation and take a Screenshot by pressing F12 on your keyboard. Then, the image will be saved in your image folder. Alternative, you can use assisting programs like Fraps, or similar.
*it is important that your Screenshot is really presentable and has a statement – after all, you want to convince others that your image deserves to win.
*pay attention that you create your Screenshot with high graphics and resolution, because that increases the presentability.
Where to put the Screenshot?
The Screenshot should be send to Ealendril or Lord of Mordor via PM. It is your decision in which form you send the image. For example, you can use a free Imagehoster, upload the image there and send us the link via PM:

- directupload (http://www.directupload.net/)
- postimage (http://postimage.org/)
As well, you can upload the image as a file on a server and send us that link:
- filedropper (http://www.filedropper.com/)
- File-Upload (http://www.file-upload.net/)
Afterwards, all Screenshots will be presented to the Community in our forum, and can be juged by the Community. The image with the most votes wins!
Theme of the Contest
The Theme of the Contest is:
TALES OF THE NORTH.
How you interpret that theme is your decision. It is only important that it has an appealing statement and convinces the viewers. It might be an image of the icy North with the armies of Angmar, Strider leading a group of Grey Rangers through the dark woods or Dwarves leaving the Erebor to go into battle. We are looking forward to your creativity!
Rules
Of course, a contest does not work without some rules. The following rules have to be followed:
- No editing of the Screenshots
- There is a maximum of one image per person
- The Screenshot has to be selfmade and is not allowed to come from the internet or any other sources
- Resolution of the screenshot has to be the Widescreen format, in the best case with high graphic settings
- No use of submods or own maps
- No editing of codes

Of course, the contest offers something to win:
*The 3 best participants get access to an intern Beta.
*The winner gets the Rank Contest Winner in the Forum and furthermore, the following official Edain Cup:
