i have installed every thing in english. i can play the 4.3 version without problems. but each time i want to update the mod it tells me __edain_german.big not found.

Did you delete any files after installing?

no. the only thing i changed was the game.dat but that was before i installed the mod.

Where did you download the mod? And are you sure you downloaded 4.3 and not 3.8.1?

Hello, I am exactly in the same situation, I specify that I own the two original games in French.
When launching edain mod here is error message:
Error: 64 bit and 32 bit registry strings of the game found. Updating the modmight not work correctly
And during the update:
_edain_data.big not found. The update might bot work correctly in this case

__edain_textures2.big ...
__edain_terrain.big ...

I also specify that the two games (bfme 2, bfme 2 rotwk) are installed in their original folder

Reinstall the game with EAs official installer, meaning with the DVD, and you will be fine.

I just reinstall both games and edain mod and I end up with exactly the same error message
When I want to do the update this message appears: Not enought hardrive space. You need at least 7gb free space on D: \
While D: \ is the Dvd of installation

reinstalling does not resolve the problem. seems like the updater don't know how to find the files that are already there. how can we solve this?
