Greetings,
This thread is dedicated to the suggestion and voting phases for the monthly featured image, featured article and featured quote.
The voting period is divided into two parts: the suggestions and the voting.

During the suggestions time users are free to suggest images, quotes and wiki articles to be displayed on this thread. There are no rules for suggesting a featured items but it should be chosen with some amount of reasoning behind them and should be relevant to some recent events related to the Mod (does include fan-made content such as custom maps, submods and strategy guides).

A week before the end of the month all the suggestions will be made into a poll and you will be able to vote for one, at the end of the month the suggestions with the highest number of votes will be chosen and made into the featured item. If the number of suggestions is too high you will be able to directly vote by simply replying to the thread.

In addition, this month you can also vote for a new poll theme, just suggest any sort of theme which would allow user to choose between multiple options base on personal taste.

Remember: Even if you're not wiki editor you're more than welcome to suggest featured image, quote and article.

I agree with the honourable commemoration of Ealendril. If it's possible, I guess it would be interesting to make a sort of summary of his overall activity and greatest achievements during his rule. Some insights from the Edain Team or from other early veterans of this forum could serve you/us very well.

I don't have too many ideas for the featured article but perhaps we could center it around the FAQ to remind users that visit the wiki everywhere that they can check the page out before asking questions. Also:

Attention: The Voting process will not begin until more than one item per category has been proposed. I am aware that this will mean a shorter voting period but it will allow users who wish to still be able to submit suggestions they have.

Well, if you consider the fact that half the ModDb comments currently consist of Is the Mod dead, when are goblins coming and suggestions that should be posted on Modding Union, making the FAQ the featured article sounds like a good idea.

Since there was suggested only one item per category, voting did not take place this month.
