I was playing as Rohan against Hard Isengard on High Pass. I tried to destroy an enemy outpost. Upon destroying the citadel, it then moved north-east by a few meters, left its glowing orange windows (?) behind in the original and the hangings from the citadel moved even further north-east. It then stayed like that till all the other buildings were destroyed and then it disappeared. This wasn't an isolated incident either as it happened on another outpost they had although in a different direction. Image link of how it looked:

Mine Berserkers aren't available with machinery of war level 2 unlike the description reads.

Grimma Wormtongue - Grimma does not have any effect on the enemy hero when using the "Sabotage" ability. The enemy hero continues to attack the Grim, dealing damage.

Isengard smelting furnaces reduction is not displayed correctly but is deducted correctly.
2 smelting furnaces should show -10% instead of -30%.

Did you upgrade Wulfgar with Heavy Armor before this bug occured?

For the ability "his faithful servants" for Orthanc Guards : " As long as Saruman is garrisoned in the citadel, the Guards deal +50% damage and an additional +50% damage against units with heavy armor"

This effect seems to occurs in the reverse way, because on the contrary, the Orthanc Guards are glowing with the FX effect when Saruman is in the field, and they are not, when Saruman is garisonned on the citadel :

The ability works as intended, the glow indicates that Saruman has been recruited and the Orthanc Guards can use a different set of abilities.

Thanks for your answer.

My mistake, I should have tested it more profoundly.

However, after making a network game with 2 computers and tested Orthanc Guards against Gondor soldiers with heavy armor, I must reach the conclusion that in fact there is no difference whatever place Saruman is on: garrisoned in his citadel or in the field.

The 50 % damage against everything and 50 % aditionnal against units with heavy armor simply don't work, it's not the reverse way as I thought, but simply doesn't work for now.

I tested it with 2 different Orthanc Guards against 2 differents Gondor soldiers fully upgraded.

One fought when Saruman was garisonned in the citadel, the other fought while Saruman was in the field. I put the same stances to everyone

I saw absolutely no difference in the way the combat occured and in the final result :
the Gondor soldiers took 4 hits each time before dying, and they won, getting each time to level 4.


I'm sorry for having investigated it but when a concept is very nice such the Orthanc Guards are, I often have to assess they work OK, it's stronger than me.
