Titel: I can't get to play the Edain 4.0 mod?

I have just downloaded the Edain 4.0 mod, but when I launch the game and enter the "skirmish" part, the game simply shuts down, and a window pops up saying: "The Battle for Middle-Earth stopped working," followed by: The game has a problem, which unables you to play it. Windows will bring a notification, as soon as we have a solution. :)" what has gone wrong? I tried removing the RJ-mod files, which I has tried before, but the only change was the background for the menu, when the game is launched.
Does anyone have a solution, apart from windows in 5 years?
