Today we released patch 4.5.1 for the demo of Edain version 4.0. You can download it by using the update-function in your Edain Launcher.
In case you don't have a version of Edain installed already, you first have to download the basic version as a complete package by clicking on the banner below. After installing Edain, use the Update Function of the Edain Launcher to get the latest version. You may have to update several times until the launcher shows that no newer version is available anymore.

- Reworked Siege Shields - in order to protect your units, they now need a target to adjust to
- Reworked Signal Fires - they now spawn actual riders next to them, ready to be sent on a mission to request aid from the fiefdoms
- Reworked Refuge in the Woods - the enchanted trees now have to be placed close to your base or other enchanted trees, which organically spreads the sphere of Lorien's influence + stat changes
- Reworked Borderguard-Patrol - Borderguards now move 20% faster constantly, as long as a maximum of three units travel together
- Reworked Carc's Ravens - they will return to the base when the building where they were summoned to is destroyed + stat changes
- Reworked Reinforcements from Rhun and Harad - they will now spawn without upgrades until Influence of Sauron has been cast on the Defense Banner
- Changes to Greenwing's Challenge
- Changes to the factions Dwarves and Rhovanion in Mission: Defend The Shire
- Improvements for both missions of the campaign
- Many bugfixes, corrected hotkeys and quality of life-changes
Balance changes:- Mordor orcs nerfed on higher levels
- Sauron's influence reload time increased
- Flyers weakened
- Thorin III. can no longer stack all of his abilities to the same degree
- The Last March of the Ents now deals increased damage and is summoned in rage mode
- Beornings in bear form decelerate faster while trampling and take increased damage from pikes
- Gil-Galad's Vilya damage to units and heroes reduced by 33%
