Hey guys, is there a way to make the comp players better? We used to play vs. comp oppoments as well, and they are quite dumb. Even the brutal AI is easy..it's massing weak units in the early game, that's good and fun, however the comp's mid + late game is very bad. It continues to build crappy units, and it is always attacking the same spot over and over, even on open maps...not to mention that usually it's attacking with lone companies as well, which is pointless again. I think that the comp shouldn't build weak units in mid and late game for example. 1 more thing: The comp very rarely uses it's powers/spells.

Some factions are really good. For example  the AI of Isengard or Gondor.

But the AI will be better in the next version :)

The same place you put all your Edain .big files.
I have xp and it's the german path, but it should be similar at your computer:
C:\Programme\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king
(this is a fan made project, not an edain project. But in the next edain version the AI will be much better)

I think that something is wrong.
I've seen messages like Missing script aiv1 and Missing script bugmeldung. The Angmar AI isn't doing anything for example.

Oh...
It's wrote for a German-Version, maybe it dosn't work with your english Version.

Yes, its for the german version.
Why the Angmar Ki does nothing, I can not explain.
This version should also in English, because these are the codes.
The "missing" error probably come from that you have a different language version, but this should have no impact on the game.

Maybe it has something to do with custom maps? Because the Angmar AI is working on X map, but it won't do anything on Y. Weird...

That can be.
You have to add the AI in every single Map. Probably your Mapw as only made for BfmE II, so it doesn't have an AI for Angmar, Rohan or Imladris.

Yeah, that must be it. So basically these error messages ain't so important? Because as I see, the AIs are working flawlessly on certain maps.

Yes, these messages you can ignore.
But in der new Edain 3.3 version, the Ai dont work.
I upload a new Ai version, after the release of Edain 3.3

Actually it's unimportant, wich language you use, the only thing, that matters is that u use the correct version (3.21) 'cuz the Artificial Intelligence isn't based on the lang-files.
