Ask the Edain Team
Octop01:
Now that Drogoth is gone. Will you eventually add an armored Dragon or something like this.Because removing Drogoth doesn't automatically mean that you will not use his model and abilities.Im basically asking if you plan to do more with Dragons in general like adding the ability to surpress units with their wings to normal dragons?

Yes, Drogoth is gone because he is non canon and mainly Smaug will be permanent hero for Misty Mountains. :)
Two dragons in the one faction would be quite OP.
Also there is problem with roles:
--- Zitat ---Buhrdur and Drogoth were discarded because not only were they entirely made-up, they also shared the same role of area damage dealers - a role that was also occupied by Smaug. We couldn't find a way to give all three of them radically different yet useful abilities (especially between two dragons), so we decided to keep only Smaug and make him more central and relevant as the faction's unique destroyer.

There is no place for another dragon.
In addition,
smaller dragons are available on the outpost and one is in the spellbook - "dragon air raid." :P

Do you mean for small dragons? It would be quite funny, for example encircle the enemy armies and hitting them by dragon wings - unable to move. 8-)
I'm afraid that it would be quite strong.
-Mandos-:
The samller dragons from the outpost have some quite unique leveling system, so they dont stay small but get bigger and bigger until they are as big as a dragon should be. They are also able to fly on higer levels and have a fire attack.

But isn't it a waste to not atleast still use his model like for an upgrade to normal dragons?(Basically giving Armor to the Dragon). While never explicity described in the lore it does not mean that it never happend. And also i think, as of current the "normal" Dragons don't feel like they should. We all know that they can hit units with their wings too, just as Drogoth and we too know that they can spit fire while flying just like on the ground. You could balance that by making them cost alot more and limit them to like 2 dragons at a time.

I absoloutley adore this mod, great job Edain team! However, what bugs me the most is the fact that I have to play as Arnor on specific maps, they're such an amazing faction with some of the best skins in the game. I understand Arnor is (during certain times) under the same alligeance as Gondor, but I think you shouldn't limit the playability. Imagine being able to play Arnor vs Gondor on any map you desire (like a civil war)
I hope that you can see where I'm coming from, and I do honestly appreciate all you're hard work, so I would be so utterly grateful to see Arnor as a standalone faction sometime in the future! :)
