Walküre:
Nienna.


Upon the ends of Arda the Queen of Sadness resideth
The silent shores where tears flow and naught changeth.

Walküre:
Nienna II.


Her mourning washed away the filth,
From the Two Trees, whose lone and ultimate fruits the sad Queen saved.

Walküre:
Nienna III.


And her tears had given to the Trees miraculous life,
When the three greatest Queens offered to Arda the Powers' most splendid deed.

Walküre:
Nienna IV


Sister of the Judge of Valinórë, her grief hope in suffering hearts rekindleth,
That is why her we much pray and in reverence worship.

Walküre:
A composition conceived on the shores of Eressëa, in the midst of the breeze of the sea and the gathering clouds from the mortal shires of Arda.


Friendship, what once would tie the Lonely Island to the Five-Pointed Star,
When merry times lay ahead and sunny days we rejoiced,
But clouds are now menacing the blue surfaces that divide us,
And, alas, fewer and fewer mariners of the Eldar would fain sail east.
