Antique Lyrics of Arda
Walküre:
The Book of Days
Fast and sudden along their course flow, days and years and eras,
Astray they run and forever vanish, bringing with them of what was the old memory.
Walküre:
Endurance shall open the way
In the midst of the heat of suffering, to a conclusion we have come,
That the buoyant people of Middle-earth may greatly suffer,
The bitterness of cold and the hopeless void that darkness brings,
Yet endurance shall open a way, if one is tough enough to undergo misfortune.
Walküre:
Beware, things are often what they are not
Beware, be vigilant and with a prompt mind,
Things conceal and often different seem, in the forest of the World,
A prowess of uncertain sort might be behind it,
Consider, what is bewitched to nature does not belong.
Walküre:
Ah, a place of learning and merry solace!
In the valley it secretive lieth,
Sun is high and nature rejoiceth,
Thou might hear the old tongue, for long forgotten,
In Elrond's residence hallowed by stars and grace.
Walküre:
Mayhem
The Lord of the Rings tried to have his arts back,
The Eldar this combatted and Eregion in mayhem was then abandoned.
