Antique Lyrics of Arda

Walküre:
What they long to do

No fault nor guilt is with the gallant commanders of Gondor,
Long they suffered and blows withstood,
Greatness to restore in the old fashion they desire,
How could they be fallacious in their heart?

Walküre:
Ruins do tell a good deal

The common eye is easily confounded,
By deception and sham opinions bewitched,
To deem ruins worthless stones and meaningless remnants,
When ruins, however, do tell and of glorious annals they speak.

Walküre:
The Story Foretold

In grey times and tough happenings,
One might halt a deed and finally give in,
For the page seems to have already been written,
Yet stories are not often foretold with justness and one's will they shouldn't sway.

Walküre:
The Key of the Mountain

The Key of the Mountain now rests in secure hands,
The right owner what is owed to him shall be given, for a quest awaits and so grand designs.

Walküre:
A modest soul among green, quietness and beasts

An Istar carries a modest existence with what is green and what woods inhabits,
His highest fellow mistakes him for a fool, but truth tells that only gentle spirit beside nature may live.
