Ashes, fire and much toil...


This the Bearer had to outlive,
And the greatest courage was then rewarded with justice, as his soul left the tiers of Arda for the undying shires of the West.

Walküre:
What may not occur


Some things within the girdles of Arda may not occur,
As life and death, whose harmony naught may alter, for the prime authority of all this commanded.

Walküre:
Guardian of purity and kindness


Guardian of purity and kindness, good intent and a vastness of love command thy actions,
It is thee to whom the rule was given and the legitimate power,
The keys of Eä entrusted to thy noble hands only,
To keep the Plan safe and from horrific shadows to protect it.

Thou sitest on the diamond-made throne upon the Holy Mountain, and Varda who stars kindleth is beside thee,
Just and pious thou art, maybe too generous towards whom thou judgest,
Yet may the Evil know and hearken with the greatest concern,
To save the World and the Imperishable Flame, thou shalt become the most dreadful foe and of darkness the bane!

Glimpses from afar (past or future?)


Man, brave warrior and vigilant sentinel, silent ruins you have just entered,
Mighty stones and robust shapes, this legacy of your kind might perhaps be,
When a sea-empire was then founded and from the Five-Pointed Island all commanded,
Remembrances of the merry days, glorious and undaunted the rule.

Until harmony was broken by the disaster that later occurred,
The Island choked by waters and unto the depths of the blue dragged,
What was flat and old was made a sphere, and sailors now would journey round in an eternal loop,
For the knowledge of the westernmost ends for the mortal one is denied and forever lost.

Walküre:
The Hue of Hope


Thee, Saviour of Middle-earth we salute,
Thou bringest a new hue of hope and faith for whom the war made suffer,
The foul Ring was cast into the fire and by the flames that crafted it undone,
All should share the merriment and fly on the wings of the newly-found freedom.
