Walküre:
Queen of all that is green

Yavanna, thou art the Queen of all that is green,
Of all branches and arms that in the underground dwell,
Of Nature itself thou hast the total domain, and to thee only the vital force running in trees respondeth,
Thy grandest deed are with no doubt the lost Two Trees, which still live somewhere again and the reminiscence of old often rekindle.

Walküre:
Smoke the fashion of Rings takes


Very heated the assembly and naught of good from the final judgement came,
As the two wizards to bandy words with each other decided, one moved by the purest will and the other much staunch in his secrecy,
When the Grey Pilgrim gave up talking and hope lost to find the just compromise,
He then started to smoke with worrying care, and the very smoke at times seemed the fashion of Rings to mirror.

Walküre:
That malice shall not pass the ends of this world

During the Council of Elrond, the question arises from the guests: why can't we just send the One Ring to the West?


No, my dear guests, this I won't permit,
That malice to pass the mortal ends is given chance,
For none of the merry souls that there reside that artefact would fain accept,
Lest the peace of Eressëa or of the diamond-carved harbours of Eldamar in jeopardy be,
When they to open the door to that great evil give way, and hither still to face up to the revenant Sauron bound we would nonetheless be.

Walküre:
It is not a fate of many


Love saved the World and the impossible made real,
Stones undid, the foulest bowed and the Tyrant knelt,
Not a fate of many throughout the old ways of Arda,
Not a common force among the wonders of history's grand characters.

Walküre:
A great gleam our kind awakened

Men recall the first coming of the Sun.


This the oldest ones of us clearly remember,
That a great gleam of warm light our kind awakened,
But it was beyond the mountains and all was somber,
When our journey we had not commenced yet and naught life on this world threatened.
