Lady of Star-light, protect my art,
Which many deem worthy, whilst some long to tear apart,
Be thou my shield, from the malicious eye and the tongue fell,
Prime content, thee worship I shall.

Cherish my lyrics, Angel of light,
Titan of radiance, who ever the wrong maketh right,
Bethink thyself that a noble man shall grow merry and aware,
To get thy blessing, allowing his chant to spread and well fare.

Nay, today shan't be a day of grief,
Blood will not stain neither ground nor springing leaf,
Let swords be silenced, to enjoy the rest,
Darling, be thou Elf, Man or Dwarf, well-speak such solace and fancy this silly jest.
