Edain startup errors need help

Wanheda:
I have some popups that I screenshotted but I can't attach them because they are PNG. The first one says "Access to the path 'C:\Users\swift\AppData\Roaming\My The Lord of the Rings The Rise of the Witch-king Files\options.ini' is denied."
The second error I get is "Expected floating point value, math op, or predefined macro, but found 'ARCHER_VISION_SIDE'
Error parsing field'VisionSide' in block 'Object' in file data\ini\object\mapobjects.ini

If someone knows how to fix this that would be wonderful.

Gnomi:
Deactivate 2.02.

Edain just works with the latest official patches, which are 1.06 for bfme 2 and 2.01 for rotw.

Ok I am still getting the first error. But the second error is gone. But now I am getting the "please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application.

Oh, I oversaw the first error. You can use the edain start fixer. It adds the options.ini to your game file.
You can try playing Edain through the normal rotw shortcut after activating edain. That helps a lot of player with the no DVD bug.
If you have no DVD (and used the crack of 2.02 to play the game), I can't help you here, as it is illegal. Sorry. (but you can find a ton of help on some discord servers)

Thank you for all your help. But im still having the the Insert cd error. If you could link me to some of the discords you were talking about that would be great.
