Edain startup errors need help

I have some issues too and i figured i would use this thread instead of creating a new one

I used to have edain mod installed and fully functional

i moved my Electronics Arts folder somewhere and then moved it back where it was, then updated edain mod to 4.5 (don't remember what the previous version was)

i started the game, but had an issue where after a few minutes the game would exit to desktop with no error message

i read a bit online and just reinstalled the game + edain mod, but now after i install edain i can't get the mod nor the base rotwk to launch, i get an error on startup

i tried this twice, first time i got an error regarding "elven arrow side" or something similar, now i did the whole process again and i'm getting an error saying "invalid sound 'AvalancheSnowSound' and some more error lines
i am using 1.06 (made sure via patch switcher) and i installed only v2.0.1, not 2.02

Remove any sumbods you still have in your folder (Angmar campaign, balancepatches, etc.).

the second time after uninstalling i deleted the electronic arts folder

i'll download directly the 4.5 setup instead of running the old one i had saved and updating

anything i could try in the mean time?

This sounds exactly like the error you get when there are still old files in your folder. Check your VirtualStore (C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts) for a RotWK folder. If you find anything in there, delete it.
