The children of the Ungoliant the Gloomweaver are represented in-game as a part of the Misty Mountains.

While the leader of the spiderriders,Gorkil,was revised in 3.6 in an excellent way according to the new Crowning system,the other spider hero remained unchanged.

Shelob



I have never been really satisfied by Edain Shelob's system.Recently on the german section a concept regarding Shelob as ring hero was posted.This gave me the idea of a new Shelob version.
She is about never used in a game,as she simply isn't worth 3000.
The new Shelob is instead a good alternative to Buhrdur.

Shelob can no longer hide in trees.This is a feature added by EA,but as Shelob never saw a single tree,unlike Mirkwood spiders,it doesn't make any sense.

Health 6000 to 7000 as she levels up.Armor stronger against arrows and frost,weaker against pikes,magic and fire.Speed raised to 90.Turn speed reduced.Cost increased to 3500.
Base attack is changed : hero damage 300 to 400 as she levels up,radius is 20,hit units and heroes suffer a debuff(-25 damage,armor and move speed,not stackable) for 10  seconds.No longer poisons enemies.
Shelob devours killed foes,thus restoring 2% health per killed unit,10% per killed hero.


Black Widow(Level 1)

Shelob,like her mother,used to mate with other spiders and to devour them,as her hunger grew more and more.
Shelob devours a Spiders battalion in order to breed her children(1 devoured battalion generates 1 child).
These permanently follow her,attacking every near enemy.Shelob's Brood have same values as Spiders,but lesser line of sight(150),passive poison attack and different anti-cavalry debuff(-25% armor and move speed).Respawn time 60 seconds after death.
Shelob can't earn experience from battle,but she levels up every time she uses this ability(cooldown 60 seconds).

Terror Veil(Level 3)

ALL units near to shelob(radius 30) have 25% chance to suffer Fear effect(10 seconds effect),this effect occurs every 20 seconds.Passive ability.

Tunnel(Level 5)

Shelob used to move across tunnels,using this ability she can now excavate up to 5 holes,which work like goblin caves,even though only Shelob can use them.Enemies can't attack these entrances.The hole is built right under Shelob.Cooldown 2 minutes.

Dreadful Web(Level 7)

Shelob weaves her webs to slow down enemies and trap them.
Enemies in the selected area(150) suffer -25% armor,damage and move speed.Healing effects in that area are prevented.The web lasts 60 seconds.Cooldown 3 minutes.

Deadly Sting(Level 10)

Shelob hits a enemy hero/non siege unit with her poisonous sting.
The target is crippled,can't use powers and suffers massive poison damage over 30 seconds(like now).
If the target reaches 10% during the effect of the hit,it permanently turns into a cocoon.
The cocoon can be attacked by every player,has 500 health,low armor and it's completely passive.
If Shelob(anyone's) kills the cocoon,she regains full health.
If any enemy unit kills the cocoon,the trapped unit is killed.
If an allied unit kills the cocoon,the trapped unit is freed with 30% health.
Cooldown 3 minutes.

I know that the german section is hundreds times better to discuss,but i don't want to sacrifice concept accuracy just to have more feedback.
The concept will be seen anyway.

If you have read his post properly you would have seen that TheMostBurning knew about Molimos concept.
However, Molimos conecpt is about the ring version of Shelob whereas his concept is about the normal version of  shelob.
Because of that there's no discussion about which of these concepts is better because they don't treat with the same things ;)

Why are the slaves of the Inn in the Misty Mountains do not have any slave owner? They should have some orcs behind him with a whip. Let the slaves running around without supervision is quite illogical.
