The Hunter has too little armor. Having level 10, even a squad of orcs can kill him.
That's intended, he is a scout! The fighting is done by the elite cavalry he can summon instead.

Hello,
It will be quite a long post because it's a bug I kinda like :D

But now, I'm starting to learn multiplayer and that's exploit put me ill-at-ease.
It's not specific to Edain however, it is also the case in vanilla and I guess other people know it but this point is relevant for a discussion I think;

The exploit is this : flying units recover health each time they land and get back to fly.
This mechanic can be abused by making a flying unit repeatedly land and fly in a quick succesion, making its health bar going from red to green very quickly.

And there is a twist : the more hit point the unit has, the more exponentially powerful the recover is. You will notice Smaug level 1 recover not that much. But a level 10 fire dragon, with a lot of hit points can pass in one land from orange to full health.

That mechanic I would personnaly like either to be withdrawn or either to be improved.

If it is technically possible to deter flying units recovering health that way, that's OK.

However I like this type of recover that make sense, compensate the time of getting out of its mount, but in that case, there would be 2 things to improve :

-making the mount button desactivated for 5 or 10 seconds between each use.
-getting rid of the exponential effect, without maybe negating a more powerful effect for more powerful units, but no more exponential, for example, it could make a 15% recover of its health bar, still advantageous for powerful units, but not crazy op.

And maybe this mechanic of recovering health could incite also a more versatile gameplay for heroes with horses. It would be fun to make this system for those like Eomer and Theoden, with maybe only a 5 % recover of their full health, and a temporary desactivation of their mount button (not long, I daresay 5 or 10 seconds), that would incite to change the way we use them.

And the description of the mount button should in that case mention this extra effect.
